Bob Newbold

When Bob Newbold entered the insurance business many years ago, his goal was clear. Bob liked the concept of the "old-fashioned" insurance agent, someone visible in the community, active in town events, and a trusted advisor to friends and neighbors with their insurance needs. He joined Thomas Fahy Insurance Associates in 1978 after gaining valuable sales experience at Honeywell, and at the Travelers Insurance Company, where he served as an underwriter in the personal lines department.

His approach is simple. Whether it is business or personal insurance, he offers a no-obligation review of your current policies, and answers any questions you may have regarding your coverage. Bob strives to make the process as easy as possible. The "internet" or an "800" number seem convenient, but wouldn't you rather have a responsible, local agent who is accountable for his advice and knows your entire situation firsthand?

Bob has been fortunate to be able to spend time serving the community as a member of the Rotary Club of Newington, the Newington Chamber of Commerce, Newington Student Assistance Fund, and the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce.

Bob resides in Newington with his wife pat, where they raised two sons, Brian and Mike.
